holiday football FAQ's
Number of Children
There will be a maximum of 12 players per coach. Small group coaching provides all the children with a positive and fun experience
Weather
Football sessions will go-ahead in all weathers, including rain. There is a changing room for shelter at the venue. However, should adverse weather conditions pose a safety threat, the session will be cancelled with as much notice as possible. In this instance, a replacement session on an alternative date will be arranged
What to bring
What to bring? Please bring a packed lunch in a named lunch box/plastic bag. Please also bring a drink in a named water bottle and plenty of snacks (e.g. banana and biscuit bar). There is a water fountain for children to refill their bottles. Please be aware that some children attending have severe nut allergies so please do not include any nuts or sesame in your child's packed lunch (including humous).
Parents/Guardians
Parents/guardians are welcome to stay and watch or leave the premises. Watching parents are required to follow the Parents Code of Conduct that will be on display at registration.
Sign In / Sign out
Registration time is now flexible - you can register your child anytime between 9am and 9.30am. During this time there will be supervised football free-time on the pitch ready for kick off at 9.30am. Please do not arrive before 9am. The day finishes at 3pm. Sign out will take place from the registration desk outside the changing rooms. Please ensure you sign out your child at the end of the day and you take all their belongings with you.
Cancellation
Unfortunately, if a child misses a day, I am unable to provide a refund. However, if I am forced to cancel due to adverse weather conditions, I will arrange a replacement day on an alternative date
Toilets
Toilets are available at the venue next to the changing room. We will have our own changing room where we will store the children's bags. Children will go to the toilet in groups accompanied by a member of the team who will wait at the entrance to the toilets.
What to wear
Your child needs to wear suitable clothes to run around - this doesn't need to be a football kit! It could be shorts and t-shirt or if its cold perhaps a tracksuit.
Esher College 4G rules means children can either wear trainers or astro football boots - no long studs please
